A public grant can pay up to 50% towards solar panels for eligible businesses. You may qualify if:

Own a commercial building?
Commercial landlords can put solar on the roof and sell the power to their tenants. Tenants get cheaper electricity. You make use of a roof that is doing nothing.
Old or asbestos roof?
Some roofs need work before panels can go on. Where a project is eligible, roof upgrades may also be grant-funded. We will tell you honestly if your roof is suitable.

Who qualifies for the grant?
Limited companies, partnerships and CICs with fewer than 250 staff, based in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall or Wolverhampton, that use about 25,000 kWh of energy a year or more. Sole traders are not eligible. Call us for a free eligibility check.
How much funding can I get?
Up to 50% match funding towards eligible costs, subject to eligibility and a free energy audit. You pay the rest. Funding is limited and given out first come, first served.
Do I have to use Westinghouse for the installation?
No. You choose the contractor. We are happy to quote, and we install if you choose us.
Can landlords apply?
Yes. Commercial landlords can qualify. Solar on your roof can supply your tenants with cheaper electricity.
